One reason I got into private practice is to spend MORE time building relationships with clients and their families and LESS time on excessive paperwork, irrelevant meetings, and having to jump through hoops to give my clients the BEST treatment they need. Implementing evidence-based treatment approaches in only one piece to success. I strive to LISTEN to the priorites of a family, LEARN from the feedback they give, and BUILD CONFIDENCE through improving communication skills. I only treat clients that I feel I can truly help, based on my clinical experience and shared vision with the client and their family. Using a strengths based approach, always keeping priorities and interests in mind, and incorporating a variety of evidence-based treatments is paramount to the success of my clients.
